It´s important to use an approach in which students see their progress through the practice of the different language skills.
We should always be part of this language aquisition proces by being good language facilitators and providers of the situations which can enable our learners to increase theis communicateve skills as well as their written ones.
I think that we can achieve our goals when we suggest the right books and we have the right background to support the topics we are teaching.
At the begining of the class there is always a warm up and a feed back from the previous lesso so that we get involved in the class, then we always have different skills to practice with but always in a sequence that cam reinforce the learning process and correct recycling of the issues we study in class.
I think that it´s not necessary to translate unless it´s for a good reason.
When we use realia in our classes applying activities that are meaningful then we can learn better and remember all the language input we have been given.
I f we talk about listening comprehension we should always take into account that it´s the best way to improve prononciation when we try to immitate native speakers.
I have seen that picture description enables students to make use of their imagination and choose from the variety of expressions and vocabulary previously taught in class.
A very important aspect of my approach is to learn how to paraphrase so that you can express yourself using different words and expressions to express the same ideas.
