Production/Engineering/Maintenance Manager.- Sheet Metal, Stamping and Welding

Responsible to run Stamping/Sheet Metal Operations plant, 300 hourly employees, 4 Production Leaders, 1 Maintenance Leader, 1 Tool and Die Leader 12 production supervisors, 2 maintenance supervisor, 2 production information systems technicians, 2 spare parts clerk and 12 maintenance technicians,

In charge for reporting, control and improve operation metrics as: Volume, Efficiency, Attainment, FTQ, Scrap, Down Time and PM on time indicator, also to monitor and control operation expenses

Team work with Engineering, Maintenance and Tool & Die areas for production support by managing preventive maintenance to stamping dies based in strokes quantity made. Work Instructions creation, posting and training for operators on stamping presses, turret punch presses, laser cutting machines and press brakes.

Implemented the Preventive Maintenance program for production machines by creating the PM routines (Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Six Months and Year), spare parts warehouse creation and control, deployment of basics for TPM.

Reporting to me Maintenance and Tool & Die areas for production support to 20 stamping presses (Niagara, Verson, Stamtec, Blow, Presicion) from 50 ton to 800 ton capacity, 300 manual and progressive dies. In the sheet metal processing area we had 10 Turret punch presses (Amada), 5 Sheet Laser machines (Amada and STM Robotics), 1 Tube Laser machines (STM Robotics) and 26 Press Brakes (Amadas, 2 Durma). Supporting 4 welding stations (2 TIG welder, 2 MIG welders)
