Hello there! My name is Shivani and I am an English native speaker and teacher from South Africa. I have 4 years of teaching experience. I have taught children aged from 4 to 10 years old as well as adults from all over the world. A few to mention would be Brazil, Northern Africa and Saudi Arabia.

On my classes you can expect variety- I will use videos, hands-on activities, and relatable content for all learning styles (auditory, visual, kinaesthetic). I also like to get to know my students hobbies and interests and integrate this into my lessons. I find this captures their attention and helps them to remember the content.

I am very passionate about education, but my main aim during English classes is to make the learning experience memorable and impactful.

When it comes to my other passions- I am a teacher, but also a student of psychology at the University of Cape Town. This knowledge allows me to empathize with each student's unique challenges and tailor my approach accordingly.
