I am a hardworking, dynamic and intrinsically motivated international educator who imparts knowledge, skills and values for life; academic excellence for my learners occurs in the process.
I am teacher of English and Literature currently living in Bogota. I hold a Bachelor of Education Arts Degree; English and Literature,and completed training in implementing the MYP curriculum CAT 1.

Professionally, in my six years of teaching in international schools, I have interacted with both British Curriculum (IGCSE $EDEXCEL) and the IB-MYP program through school setting and individualized tuition, where I have taught both First Language and Second Language English, and also, Literature. Using various learner-centred activities, differentiation strategies, technological tools, formative assessment and motivation techniques, I strive to encourage learners to be collaborators, critical thinkers, innovative and motivated to learn new things and apply them in the real world.
My learners tend to find a caring and supporting teacher in me who not only focuses on their intellectual capacity but also supports them socially.
