My classes are all about learning the language without being overwhelmed. By keeping it simple and use methods which do not confuse students. I think by having students actually practice rather than just take notes makes them feel its not so hard and by creating an envirorment which is motivational allows you to build students confidence level. Being helpful and supportive helps students believe in themselves that their goals are possible. Every class should be prepared where at the end of the class what you taught is understood without any doubts. Having students use what they learned in class with other students builds a base which you can continue teaching and students never feel its to hard or they can not do it. Teaching consist of many aspects and being able to adapt to different personalities and ways of learning is very important because you can loose their motivation. Change is a good thing and doing things or make activities that are different always keeps students guessing and never feel bored with the class. I try to not talk in class rather let the students use the language in pairs or groups so that I can monitor their speaking an make corrections. There are many ways to teach but the most important is to never let students feel that they can not learn. Always be the example no matter the situation never let students see you lose hope. Be the one who makes speaking another language become posssible for them.
