I am a native Spanish teacher from Argentina based in Chile. Teaching Spanish is my full-time job.
I am a qualified teacher with more than 10 years of experience teaching Spanish to students from all over the world (Australia, United States, England, South Africa, France, Canada, China, India, Russia, etc. )
I have taught in all kinds of settings: language schools, 1-on-1 private tuition, large and small groups, in person, Skype and Zoom lessons. For the past 8 years, I have been teaching online, so my courses are completely adapted to the online teaching era (digital book, online resources, etc.).
My qualifications?
I am a qualified English > Spanish Translator by the Faculty of Languages, National
University of Cordoba (Argentina) with more than 10 years of experience as a Spanish as a Second Language Teacher.
My teaching style?
am a facilitator, more than a demonstrator: my teaching style emphasizes student-
centered learning. I strive to create an atmosphere where the student is not afraid
to speak, ask questions, and have an active role in the learning process. On my
classes, the student will constantly practice and improve their speaking and listening skills. Reading and writing are also skills we are going to address, mainly through homework.
Do I assign homework? I generally do, as long as you have the time to do it.
